She Can Teach is designed by Dr Jackie Roese to give women the confidence and skills they need to proclaim God’s Word effectively. In a cohort of  women, we learn to study, prepare, and deliver a transformative 20-minute biblical message in dependence on God’s Spirit and in a community of peer-learners. We will also discuss the internal issues that can cause women to doubt themselves and withhold their giftedness, including cultural, family and church background.

Jackie has taught the Scriptures and trained other women to do the same for more than 25 years out of her own love for Jesus and His Word. In 2008 she was the first female to serve on the Sunday morning preaching team at a large church in Dallas, Texas. With degrees from Dallas Seminary and Gordon-Conwell Seminary, she has done thoughtful and fruitful writing and teaching on the important and relevant topic of women in the evangelical church. In 2012, Jackie founded The Marcella Project, an organization committed to reshaping our view of women and to ennobling women through Scripture-focused teaching, training, and dialogue. She and her husband Steve have 3 adult children.
