Leadership Pathways, Part 3: Developing Others

Facilitated by Heather Althoff (Lifeway Church, Missions Pastor), Ruthie Campbell (SIM Intl, Dir of Spiritual Vitality,),  Beth Eckstein (Send Intl, Certified Exec Coach), and Wendy Wilson (WDT, Exec Dir)

This experience will focus on 1) gaining personal clarity and more fluency, exploring historical and practical trends, and resolving tensions we may hold related to our understanding and application of biblical teaching around gender, leadership, gifting, and design – at home, in the church, and outside,  2) coaching as a relational leadership style to support a culture of developing the people you lead (including yourself!),  3) identifying aspects of organizational culture that may unintentionally create barriers for women with leadership gifts, 4) productive conversations and language that can help pave the way for healthy leadership partnerships as brothers and sisters in Christ, and 5) time for reflection and worship.  What a privilege to have time with peers and mentors around these rich issues that can help us, and those around us, to thrive!

This peer-mentoring community is guided by experienced women mentors and limited to a cohort of 12 participants, so we leave with important friendships for the ongoing journey!  (A one-week in-person experience) Some advance reading.

Course Schedule:

Begin Wednesday evening, Feb 4, with registration and dinner at 5pm, then introductory session following. End Tuesday evening, Feb 10, at 7pm (registration includes your room for this night, assuming February 11 departures.) (9:00 am – 6:00 pm daily (including worship, personal reflection time, group instruction and interaction, plus several breaks and a long lunch with evenings free.)

We will enjoy an extended worship time together on the first morning to ease into our week, and a Free Afternoon half way through the week to enjoy the area and have some fun/relaxation. Beautiful downtown Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is 10 minutes away with shops, restaurants, art galleries, the CdA Resort, hiking by the lake!
