Leadership Pathways, Part 2: Leading Myself as I Follow Christ

April 7, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - April 13, 2021 @ 7:00 pm

Leadership Pathways, Part 2: Leading Myself as I Follow Christ

April 7 – 13, 2021     (Registration closes February 1, 2021 or sooner if full)

Usually the hardest person to lead is . . . myself!  Has the woman in the mirror cultivated her own relationship with God in stillness and trust, recognizing the other voices that compete for her priorities? As we steward the gift of leadership and the impact of our leadership on others, we cannot neglect a lifestyle that can resist busy-ness and capitulation as opportunities press hard on us for a response. This is where too many leaders compromise spiritual vitality and their ability to lead others well. We will enjoy a variety of practices that invite us to protect essential margin and quiet before the Lord; examine life/work balance, life transitions, and boundaries; accept honest limits, resist self-limiting perceptions, maintain healthy personal vision. This is a life-changing week of both guided and private space to sit with the Lord, to catch up with your soul as a woman and as a leader. This peer-mentoring community is guided by experienced women mentors and limited to a cohort of 12 participants, so we leave with important friendships for the ongoing journey! Part 1 is recommended but not required.  Some advance preparation.

*Upon registration, you will receive instructions about getting material to read ahead reflectively.

Learning is done in interactive peer-groups, guided by experienced mentors, with a maximum of 12 women in each group. First come, first serve!  (Registration open until Feb 1, unless full sooner.)

Course Schedule:

Begin Wednesday evening, April 7, with registration and dinner at 5pm, then introductory session following. End Tuesday evening, April 13, at 7pm (registration includes your room for this night, assuming April 14 departures.) 8:30 am – 6:00 pm daily (including worship, personal reflection time, group instruction and interaction, plus several breaks and a long lunch with evenings free.)

We will enjoy an extended worship time together on the first morning to ease into our week, and a Free Afternoon half way through the week to enjoy the area and have some fun/relaxation. Beautiful downtown Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is 10 minutes away with shops, restaurants, art galleries, the CdA Resort, hiking by the lake!

Cost for the Week:   $795 all-inclusive, on-site
We will be hosted by the Ross Point Camp and Conference Center in Post Falls, ID, situated in a beautiful location on the Spokane River. This all-inclusive price includes lovely accommodation with a bathroom in each room (based on double occupancy) and use of all facilities, with 3 meals/day plus coffee breaks, for the duration of your stay, April 7-14, except dinner on the afternoon off.   It also includes training instruction, all meeting rooms, administration, pick-up and delivery to the Spokane airport if needed, and transportation on our day off (materials ordered separately). What a deal! (Because this is an event fee, it is not tax-deductible.)

To best protect an undistracted experience we ask that, even if you are staying elsewhere, you stay fully engaged with your group all day from breakfast through dinner.

Register and pay through the link in the top right corner of this page. (Notation for LP2 – OCT 2020)  Or mail the Registration Form and Fee, check made payable to Women’s Development Track    PO Box 894   Coeur d’Alene, ID 83816

If you prefer to have a single room, check the box on the registration form and we will notify you of availability, for an extra $175/week which you can pay later.

We will confirm your reservation and send your receipt when we receive your registration form and payment. Before you book your travel, please wait until you hear from us to affirm a full group for your module.

Refund Policy:

If cancellation is made before the registration deadline (Feb 1), you will be refunded all but $150. If cancellation is made after the registration deadline and we are able to fill your place with another participant, you will also be refunded all but $150. However, if cancellation is made after the registration deadline and we are not able to fill your place, your registration cannot be refunded since we are committed to our reservation with Ross Point in full after that date. In case of true emergency we can try to negotiate this, but especially for configuring small group intensive mentoring experiences, we will count on your being with us once you have registered!

If you are flying from out of the area please fly into Spokane, WA (GEG) by Wednesday afternoon, April 7, no later than 4pm, so our scheduled start at 5pm is protected. Flight departures anytime Wednesday, April 14 (breakfast included). Thanks for arranging your arrival/departure times so that you will be present from beginning to end, not arriving late/leaving early. It takes about 30 minutes to get from the Spokane airport to the Ross Point Camp and we will meet you.

If you are driving to Ross Point Camp, please plan to be there by 4 pm on Wed, April 7, to get checked in and settled before our training time begins.
