Invest now in a relational learning experience with peers for renewal and growth! Learning is done in interactive peer-groups, guided by experienced mentors, with a maximum of 12 women in each group. First come, first serve! Register soon!
A Global Vision for Women: Traditions, Tensions, Theology & Thriving! Women hold up at least half the sky and make up more than half the church. Attention to both the plight and giftedness of women across the globe has been called the “moral challenge and unfinished business” of this century. What are the current callings, challenges, and opportunities of the North American church and missions in response? How can we have productive conversations that encourage both men and women to live out their callings and engage the paths God has laid before them?
As the scenery around us is changing rapidly, we will grapple toward clarity and impact of issues like: 1) God’s relationship to women in the Bible, 2) historical surveys of women in ministry from the early church to present, 3) understanding the discussion around biblical culture and theology of women with its implications and applications in various settings, 4) redeeming diminishment and violence against women around the world, 5) intentionality in nurturing the giftedness of women in our care, and 6) collaboration as a key to gospel transformation in the global age. We will respectfully interact to embrace what is most important to us by faith, living it out with confidence and grace, and let God speak to us about what He is doing in our day! Some advance reading.
(Other Module groups also meeting during this week: Discovering Your Design, Soul Care, and the Personal Retreat option -(see separate event banners)

We will enjoy an extended worship time together on the first morning to ease into our week, and a Free Afternoon half way through the week to enjoy the area and have some fun/relaxation. If cancellation is made before the registration deadline, you will be refunded all but $150. If cancellation is made after the registration deadline and we are able to fill your place with another participant, you will also be refunded all but $150. However, if cancellation is made after the registration deadline and we are not able to fill your place, your registration cannot be refunded since we are committed to our reservation with Ross Point in full after that date. Flight departures anytime Thursday, Sept 16 (breakfast included). Thanks for arranging your arrival/departure times so that you will be present from beginning to end, not arriving late/leaving early. It takes about 30 minutes to get from the Spokane airport to the Ross Point Camp and we will meet you.
If you are driving to Ross Point Camp, please plan to be there by 4 pm on Friday, Sept 10, to get checked in and settled before our training time begins.
