SUMMARY:Statio: A Holy Pause
DESCRIPTION:Charlotte\, NC at SIM USA\n(Registration closed – full)\nInvest in a week of personal refreshment\, ministry renewal and re-tooling in a beautiful setting with like-minded peers! Limited places available – first come\, first serve. . .\nhosted by: SIM USA\nfacilitated by Ruthie Campbell (SIM\, Spiritual Vitality and Prayer Coordinator) \nStatio is a custom of stopping one thing before beginning another\, making room for an unhurried moment to be attentive to God.  Psalm 90:12 (NASB) says ‘So teach us to number our days aright that we might present to you a heart of wisdom.’  Are you in need of a holy pause to consider the order of your days? A way of being that leads to greater intimacy with God and in tune with your need to enter His rest and live from it for the sake of others? \nLaunching our discussions from Ruth Haley Barton’s book Sacred Rhythms\, we will explore and practice several key Spiritual Practices that disciples of Jesus have used throughout history to arrange their lives for growing in intimacy with God.  Through the week we each will craft a personal framework of rhythm to help order our days towards living from a stillness that offers fruit to others and brings about the Kingdom in all its fullness.  Through guided reflections\, facilitated discussions\, as well as times of silence and solitude\, we will make room to nourish our souls and listen attentively to God\, to one another\, and to what’s stirring in our own hearts.   Group size is limited to 10. \nThis development experience will allow time to experience practices that can help us enter into the stillness that strengthens our ability to enjoy Him and to discern what God is doing around us\, in us\, and through us!  Invest now in this relational learning experience with peers\, in a lovely setting for renewal and growth!   Learning is done in interactive peer-groups\, guided by experienced mentors\, with a maximum of 10 women in each group. First come\, first serve!  Register by Feb 15. \nOther Module groups also meeting during this week:  Group Discipleship – see Event page for more information.  \nCourse Schedule:\nBegin Monday afternoon\, April 15\, 3pm sharp\, with introductions/overview and dinner. End Saturday evening\, April 20\, at 7pm (registration includes your room for this night\, assuming April 21 departures.) Daily activities from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm\, which include  worship\, personal reflection time\, group instruction and interaction\, plus several breaks\, a long lunch and evenings free. \nCost for the Week:   $750 all-inclusive\, on-site\, or $550 for commuters\n\nRegister and pay through the link in the top right corner of this page. (Notation for Statio)   \nWe will be hosted by SIM USA located in Charlotte\, NC.  This all-inclusive price includes lovely accommodation with a bathroom in each room (based on double occupancy) and use of all facilities\, with 3 meals/day plus coffee breaks\, for the duration of your stay\,  April 15-21.  It also includes training instruction\, all meeting rooms\, administration\, pick-up and delivery to the Charlotte airport. Some materials ordered separately\, approx $20. What a deal! \nBecause this is an event fee\, it is not tax-deductible. \nTo best protect an undistracted experience we ask that\, even if you are staying elsewhere\, you stay fully engaged with your group all day through dinner. \nConfirmation:\nWe will confirm your reservation when we receive your registration form and payment\, as places cannot be confirmed until payment is received. Register soon to assure your place. \nBefore you book your travel\, please wait until you hear from us to affirm a full group for your module.  If there are not at least 5 participants per module\, we will need to cancel and your fees will be refunded in full.  You’ll be notified no later than 2 months before the module start date. \nRefund Policy:\nIf your plans change and cancellation is necessary\, you will receive a refund\, less a $150 cancellation fee. Since groups are limited to 10\, cancellations affect the overall group experience and configuration as well as our commitment to the facility. Therefore\, we ask that each participant make every effort to be present once registered. Thank you!  \nArrivals/Departures: \nIf you are flying from out of the area please fly into Charlotte\, NC (CLT) by Monday afternoon\, April 15\, no later than 2:00pm\, so our scheduled start at 3:00pm is protected. Flight departures anytime Sunday\, April 21 (breakfast included). Thanks for arranging your arrival/departure times so that you will be present from beginning to end\, not arriving late/leaving early. It takes about 30 minutes to get from the airport to the guest facility and we will arrange your pickup. \nIf you are driving to SIM\, please plan to be there by 2:00 pm on Monday\, April 15\, to get checked in and settled before our training time begins. \nLocation: \nSIM USA\n14830 Choate Cir\,\nCharlotte\, NC 28273\n(704) 587-1490 \nSIM contact for this event:  Margie Burgess or Isabel Melo at  SIMWDT.USA@sim.org \nOther Follow-up:\nAfter registration closes you will receive a number of emails over the following few weeks about any advance preparation\, getting your travel information\, and opportunities for interaction with your peer-mentors as our time grows near! \nQuestions about the experience? \nCall or email Wendy Wilson\,  208/665-2367\,    wendy@womensdevelopmenttrack.com \nLooking forward to having this time together!
