SUMMARY:Leadership Pathways\, Part 2: Leading Myself as I Follow Christ
DESCRIPTION:March 26 – April 2\, 2025   \nRegistration closed: FULL – email Wendy to be put on a “first-notify” list in case a spot opens up.\nFacilitators:  Caryn Young\, Strengths-Finders coach\nJoy Beless\, Spiritual Director and Worship Leader\nWendy Wilson\, Women’s Development Track – Exec Dir \nUsually the hardest person to lead is . . . myself!  Has the woman in the mirror cultivated her own relationship with God in stillness and trust\, recognizing the other voices that compete for her priorities? As we steward the gift of leadership and the impact of our leadership on others\, we want to nurture a lifestyle that can resist busy-ness and capitulation as opportunities press hard on us for a response. This is where too many leaders compromise spiritual vitality and their ability to lead others well. With both guided and private space to sit with the Lord and to catch up with your soul\, we will enjoy a variety of practices that invite us to protect essential margin and quiet before the Lord so that we maintain the spiritual vitality needed to lead others well. We will explore life/work balance and boundaries; working with our brothers\, being aware of self-limiting perceptions\, maintaining healthy personal vision\, conflict management\, and other internal permission issues that can impact our leadership as women in particular. We will also address God’s design for our best contribution through personal Strengths-Finders discovery and coaching on-site during the week.  This peer-mentoring community is guided by experienced women mentors and limited to a cohort of 10 participants\, so we leave with important friendships for the ongoing journey! Part 1 is recommended but not required.  (Advance reading for discussion: Seven Deadly Sins of Women in Leadership\, by Kate Coleman\, and Sacred Rhythms\, by Ruth Haley Barton) \nLearning is done in an interactive peer-group\, guided by experienced mentors\, with a maximum of 10 women (max 2 per organization.) First come\, first serve! \nCourse Schedule:\nBegin Wednesday evening\, March 26\, with registration and dinner at 5pm\, then introductory session following. End Tuesday evening\, April 1\, at 7pm (registration includes your room for this night\, assuming April 2 departures.) (9:00 am – 6:00 pm daily (including worship\, personal reflection time\, group instruction and interaction\, plus several breaks and a long lunch with evenings free.) \nWe will enjoy an extended worship time together on the first morning to ease into our week\, and a Free Afternoon half way through the week to enjoy the area and have some fun/relaxation. Beautiful downtown Coeur d’Alene\, Idaho is 10 minutes away with shops\, restaurants\, art galleries\, the CdA Resort\, hiking by the lake! \nCost for the Week:  $ 900 all-inclusive\, on-site     \n\nWe will be hosted by the Ross Point Camp and Conference Center in Post Falls\, ID\, situated in a beautiful location on the Spokane River. This all-inclusive price includes lovely accommodation with a bathroom in each room (based on double occupancy) and use of all facilities\, with 3 meals/day plus coffee breaks\, for the duration of your stay\, March 26-April 2\, except dinner on the afternoon off.   It also includes training instruction\, all meeting rooms\, and administration (materials ordered separately). Transportation not included: If you need help arranging transportation from the airport to Ross Point\, we can suggest airport shuttle options.  \n(Because this is actual cost\, it is not tax-deductible.) General registration deadline: January 24\, 2025 (closed – FULL)  \nRegistration: limited places\nRegister and pay through the link in the top right corner of this page. (Notation for LP2 – March 2025)  Or mail the Registration Form and Fee\, check made payable to Women’s Development Track    PO Box 894   Coeur d’Alene\, ID 83816 \nIf you prefer to have a single room\, check the box on the registration form and we will notify you if any become available\, for an extra $250/week which you can pay upon notice of availability. \nConfirmation:\nWe will confirm your reservation and send your receipt when we receive your registration form and payment. Before you book your travel\, please wait until you hear from us to affirm a full group for your module.  \nRefund Policy:\nIf cancellation is made on your part before the registration deadline\, you will be refunded all but $150. If cancellation is made after the registration deadline and we are able to fill your place with another participant\, you will also be refunded all but $150. However\, if cancellation is made after the registration deadline and we are not able to fill your place\, your registration cannot be refunded since we are committed to our reservation with Ross Point in full after that date. In case of true emergency we can try to negotiate this\, but especially for configuring small group intensive mentoring experiences\, we will count on your being with us once you have registered! \nArrivals/Departures:\nIf you are flying from out of the area please fly into Spokane\, WA (GEG) by Wednesday afternoon\, March 26\, no later than 4pm\, so our scheduled start at 5pm is protected. Flight departures anytime Wednesday\, April 2 (scheduled breakfast included\, unless your departure flight is too early). Thanks for arranging your arrival/departure times so that you will be present from beginning to end\, not arriving late/leaving early. It takes about 30 minutes to get from the Spokane airport to the Ross Point Camp. \nIf you are driving to Ross Point Camp\, please plan to be there by 4 pm on Wednesday\, March 26\, to get checked in and settled before our training time begins. \nLocation: \nRoss Point Camp and Conference Center\n820 S Ross Point Rd\nPost Falls\, ID 83854\nTel: 208/773-1655   www.rosspoint.org \nOther Follow-up:\nAfter we receive your registration you will receive a number of emails over the coming weeks about your advance preparation\, getting your travel information\, and opportunities for interaction with your peer-mentors as our time grows near! \nQuestions about the experience?\nCall or email Wendy Wilson\,  208/665-2367\,    wendy@womensdevelopmenttrack.com \nLooking forward to having this time together!
