Check back in 2026!\nIn-person: September 12-13\nOnline in-between for coaching\nCalling all who love to study God’s Word to be ready to dive deep into the world of Bible teaching! If studying God’s Word brings even a flicker of excitement to your heart\, God may be speaking to you about how He has designed you to contribute to His Body. \nJoin our in-person cohort of 10-12 women and men who sense that God may want to use them in the preaching ministry of their church or ministry. Embark with others on this special journey of discovery\, growth\, and connection as we learn to develop a biblical message and deliver it with passion and Spirit-led preparation to the community of Christ! \nWhat to Expect: \n\nEmpowering Community: Connect with like-minded others and build lasting friendships.\nExpert Guidance: Led by experienced instructors\, learn the art of crafting impactful biblical messages.\nConfidence Building: Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned veteran\, gain the skills and assurance to teach confidently.\nTransformative Learning: Dive deep into research techniques and presentation skills to captivate your audience.\nPersonal Support: With decades of experience\, we are dedicated to your success every step of the way.\n\nSept 12-13: We will meet in-person from 3pm – 8pm Friday – 9am – 6pm Saturday to learn to develop a biblical message. Friday dinner\, Saturday lunch provided.\nBetween Sept 14 – Nov 14 we will work on our messages\, developing them and practicing them with coaching provided individually online as you prepare. Plan on 2-5 hours per week of thoughtful study of your passage as you move toward message preparation.\nNov 14-15: We will meet in-person from 3pm – 8pm Friday – 9am – 6pm Saturday to preach our biblical message to the cohort for feedback from each other as well as from our coach. Friday dinner\, Saturday lunch provided. \nThis special preaching workshop is designed by Dr Jackie Roese to build confidence and skills in those ready to give themselves to the sacred work of proclaiming God’s Word effectively. In this cohort of learners\, we learn to study\, prepare\, and deliver a transformative 20-minute biblical message in dependence on God’s Spirit and in a community of peer-learners. We will also discuss the internal issues that can cause us to doubt ourselves and withhold our giftedness\, including cultural\, family and church background. \nJackie has taught the Scriptures and trained others to do the same for 30 years out of her own love for Jesus and His Word. In 2008 she was the first female to serve on the Sunday morning preaching team at a large church in Dallas\, Texas. With degrees from Dallas Seminary and Gordon-Conwell Seminary\, she has done thoughtful and fruitful writing and teaching on the important and relevant topic of women in the evangelical church. In 2012\, Jackie founded The Marcella Project\, an organization committed to reshaping our view of women and to ennobling women through Scripture-focused teaching\, training\, and dialogue. She loves to see sisters and brothers in Christ partnering together in their giftedness to strengthen Christ’s church. She and her husband Steve have 3 adult children. \nDon’t let fear hold you back! With our supportive environment and expert guidance\, you’ll begin to unleash your potential as a lover of God’s transforming Word\, learning to listen to His Spirit as you soak in your preparation\, and seeing your ministry as an offering of love to Jesus and His church. However\, if cancellation is made and we are not able to fill your place\, your registration cannot be refunded.
