Post Falls, Idaho

hosted by: Women’s Development Track at Ross Point Conference Center
facilitated by Wendy Wilson and Julie Grunzweig
Invest in a week of personal refreshment and ministry renewal in a beautiful setting with like-minded peers! Limited places available – first come, first serve. . .
Making the shift from “teaching as telling” to “guide on the side” is key to the kind of relational teaching that nurtures a lifetime disciple – and it’s something that many of us can learn to do more effectively than lecture! Guided peer-learning frees us to connect the truth of God’s Word with the realities of our lives, using any good content of your choice well. Group learning involves becoming a co-learner and a guide, actively listening, preparing good questions that guide toward discovery, staying on track by building continuity, building trust and respect among members, and designing discipleship experiences that transform and multiply. Besides being a key shift in teaching style to engage the next generation, these are life skills that apply to small group Bible Studies, home groups, ministry teams, web-based meetings, and to the variety of conversations we have daily with people around us! Some advance preparation. (to see more – www.PeerEquip.com)
This development experience will help you build confidence and discipleship skills that strengthen your ability to step into the opportunities God is putting before you! Invest now in a relational learning experience with peers, in a lovely setting for renewal and growth! Learning is done in interactive peer-groups, guided by experienced mentors, with a maximum of 10 women in each group. First come, first serve! Register by April 2, 2021. (After this date, contact us to see if places are still available.)
(Other Module groups also meeting during this week: Bible Dig and the Personal Retreat option – see Module Descriptions for more information.)
Begin Sunday evening, June 13, with registration and dinner at 5pm, then introductory session following. End Friday evening, June 18, at 7pm (registration includes your room for this night, assuming June 19 departures.) 8:30 am – 6:00 pm daily (including worship, personal reflection time, group instruction and interaction, plus several breaks and a long lunch with evenings free.)
We will enjoy an extended worship time together on the first morning to ease into our week, and a Free Afternoon half way through the week to enjoy the area and have some fun/relaxation. Beautiful downtown Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is 10 minutes away with shops, restaurants, art galleries, the CdA Resort, hiking by the lake!
Cost for the Week: $795 all-inclusive, on-site ($600 for those staying elsewhere locally)
We will be hosted by the Ross Point Camp and Conference Center in Post Falls, ID, situated in a beautiful location on the Spokane River. This all-inclusive price includes lovely accommodation with a bathroom in each room (based on double occupancy) and use of all facilities, with 3 meals/day plus coffee breaks, for the duration of your stay, June 13-19, except dinner on the day off. It also includes training instruction, all meeting rooms, administration, pick-up and delivery to the Spokane airport if needed, and transportation on our day off (materials ordered separately). What a deal!
To best protect an undistracted experience we ask that, if you are staying elsewhere, you stay fully engaged with your group all day from breakfast through dinner.
Register and pay through the link in the top right corner of this page. (Notation for GrpD – JUN 2021) Or mail the Registration Form and Fee, check made payable to Women’s Development Track PO Box 894 Coeur d’Alene, ID 83816
If you prefer to have a single room, check the box on the registration form and we will notify you of availability, for an extra $175/week which you can pay later.
(Because this is actual cost, it is not tax-deductible.)
We will confirm your reservation and send your receipt when we receive your registration form and payment – please register by Apr 2, 2021 to assure your place. Before you book your travel, please wait until you hear from us to affirm a full group for your module.
If cancellation is made before the registration deadline, you will be refunded all but $150. If cancellation is made after the deadline and we are able to fill your place with another participant, you will also be refunded all but $150. However, if cancellation is made after the deadline and we are not able to fill your place, your registration cannot be refunded since we are committed to our reservation with Ross Point in full after that date. In case of true emergency we can try to negotiate this, but especially for configuring small group intensive mentoring experiences, we will count on your being with us once you have registered!
If you are flying from out of the area please fly into Spokane, WA (GEG) by Sunday afternoon, June 13, no later than 4pm, so our scheduled start at 5pm is protected. Flight departures anytime Saturday, June 19 (breakfast included). Thanks for arranging your arrival/departure times so that you will be present from beginning to end, not arriving late/leaving early. It takes about 30 minutes to get from the Spokane airport to the Ross Point Camp and we will meet you.
If you are driving to Ross Point Camp, please plan to be there by 4 pm on Sunday, June 13, to get checked in and settled before our training time begins.
