Leadership Pathways, Part 1: Preparing for a Wider Scope of Leadership

May 5 @ 5:00 pm - May 11 @ 7:00 pm

May 5-11, 2018    (CLOSED/FULL – see March 2020 for next offering of this module)

Leadership Pathways, Part 1: Preparing for a Wider Scope of Leadership
Facilitated by Andrea Buczynski (Cru) and Judy Lewis (Cru)

What changes do you need to be prepared for as you gain responsibility?

This experience focuses on developing the capacities needed for women who are gifted and called into a larger scope or responsibility of leadership.  Too often the paths to this niche of service leave us unprepared for the unique challenges and opportunities of leadership, working alongside our brothers in Christ. We will discuss the importance of the heart of the leader as well as her relationships with God, self, and others. We will also consider key functions of a leader such casting vision, setting direction, attending to priorities, leading change, building teams, and serving as spokesperson.  Developing confidence, born of humility and calling, allows gifted women to bring needed creativity and perspective to decision-making teams where men and women work together to offer the fullness of God’s Image. Some advance preparation.

For more details about what is covered, click on the Module Descriptions Tab.  Learning is done in interactive peer-groups, guided by experienced mentors, with a maximum of 12 women in each group. First come, first serve!  Register by March 3, 2019.  (After this date, contact us to see if there are any places still open.)

(Other Module groups also meeting during this week:  Hungry for More: Feasting through God’s Word; and the Personal Retreat option  -(see separate event banners)

Course Schedule:

Begin Sunday evening, May 5, with registration at 5pm, dinner at 6pm and introductory session following. End Saturday evening, May 11, at 7pm (registration includes your room for this night, assuming May 12 departures.) 8:30 am – 6:00 pm daily (including worship, personal reflection time, group instruction and interaction, plus several breaks and a 2 hour lunch with evenings free.)

We will enjoy an extended worship time together on Monday morning and a Free Afternoon on Thursday to enjoy the area and have some fun/relaxation. Beautiful downtown Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is 10 minutes away with shops, restaurants, art galleries, the CdA Resort, hiking by the lake!

Cost for the Week:   $750 all-inclusive, on-site     ($475 for those staying elsewhere locally)

We will be hosted by the Ross Point Camp and Conference Center in Post Falls, ID, situated in a beautiful location on the Spokane River. This all-inclusive price includes lovely accommodation with a bathroom in each room (based on double occupancy) and use of all facilities, with 3 meals/day plus coffee breaks, for the duration of your stay,  May 5-12, except dinner on the day off.   It also includes training instruction, all meeting rooms, administration, pick-up and delivery to the Spokane airport if needed, and transportation on our day off (materials ordered separately). What a deal!

It takes about 30 minutes to get from the Spokane airport to the Ross Point Camp and we will meet you.
