A Global Vision for Women: Engaging Crucial Issues
September 23 @ 5:00 pm - September 29 @ 7:00 pm
September 23-29, 2018 Farmington, MI
hosted by: SEND International www.send.org
This development experience will help you imagine pathways for stewarding the lives and gifts of women in your organization with resources and perspectives that strengthen your ability to step into the opportunities God is putting before you! Invest now in a relational learning experience with peers for renewal and growth! Learning is done in interactive peer-groups, guided by experienced mentors, with a maximum of 10 women in each group. First come, first serve! Register by Aug 1. (After this date, contact organizer to see if a place is still available.)
A Global Vision for Women: Engaging Crucial Issues. Women hold up at least half the sky and make up more than half the church. Attention to both the plight and giftedness of women across the globe has been called the “moral challenge and unfinished business” of this century. What are the current callings, challenges, and opportunities of the North American church and missions in response? Begin Sunday, September 23, at 5pm with dinner and an introductory session.
End Saturday evening, September 29, at 7pm. (Note: your conference fee allows you to stay on the SEND campus Saturday night and fly or drive out on Sunday morning). We will enjoy a worship time together on Monday morning and a free afternoon on Thursday for a break to rest or to enjoy the area for some fun/relaxation.
We will be hosted by SEND International on its campus in Farmington, Michigan just outside of Detroit. To get the most benefit from this unique opportunity, we ask that all participants stay on site. By being undistracted together for the week, you may even get a bit more sleep than you do at home! (No husbands, children, pets, or chocolate you don’t plan to share!)
All-Inclusive On-Site Cost: $750 (What a DEAL!)
This price includes accommodation with 3 meals during each full day (plus snacks) for the duration of your stay, Sept 23-30. It also includes training instruction and materials, conference facilities and administration, pick-up and delivery to the Detroit airport, and daily transportation as needed.
